Chincoteague Pony Tales

CHINCOTEAGUE PONY TALES: Volume IV Be inspired by Chincoteague Ponies in this fourth book of pony tales by author, Lois Szymanski. You’ll find true stories about the feral ponies who live on the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, and more stories about those who have gone home to live off the island. Hear about the Lemonade Stand Pony – how one child made her dream come true by selling lemonade by the gallons… enough to buy a foal of her own. Fall in love with a tiny premature filly found on the island alone. Friends who cared, her will to live, and one special family all became the recipe that spelled success. Get to know Darcy Cole, the cancer survivor who has become a loving lookout for the feral ponies we love. When an Assateague Pony on the Maryland side is hit by a car, what will become of her foal? Maryland and Virginia work together to assure this filly finds a soft place to land. Help yourself to these and more stories about the ponies we love!
